Paul Flato (1900–1999) was an American jeweller whose work defined mid-century glamour and brought jewellery design into the world of high style and celebrity. Based in New York City during the 1930s–1950s, Flato established himself as a master of gem setting and innovative forms, creating jewellery that was both playful and luxurious.
